Hello Everyone,
Here is the recap of the October 31 edition of "The Homegrown Rocker," which airs every Sunday night from 8 to 10 PM on Q94 Classic Rock!
With Halloween falling on a Sunday night this year, it was logical that this week's show was the annual "Homegrown Rocker" Halloween Special! We celebrated area bands, artists and songs with themes and connections relating to Halloween! We heard tunes centered around ghosts, vampires, spiders, witches, and other things that go bump in the night! We also debuted new Halloween-related tunes from Brother Jack's Lost Cause, Wax Mekanix and Anthrophobia! In addition, we pulled a 2002 number from former area rockers Saucemonster from the archive for a Halloween-geared "Local Music Flashback," and stepped "Across State Lines" to again hear music from eastern Ohio heavy rockers Doctor Smoke! Thanks to everyone who tuned in for our scary good time!
