Here is the recap of the August 6 edition of "The Homegrown Rocker," which airs every Sunday night from 8 to 10 PM on Q94 Classic Rock (www.q94classicrock.com), and from 10 PM to midnight on 107.1 and 101.3 Jack FM (www.1071jack.fm)!
This week we shined the spotlight on local and regional singers and songwriters on the "Singer-Songwriter Special!" We saluted the solo performers who create their own music, and "fly without a net" to share their songs with audiences who may or may not be paying attention. Along the way, we shared new tunes from Brother Jack, Nik Mik and Van Wagner w/Sav Sankaran. We'll again update "Local Music News," dig a "Local Music Flashback" from the archive and step "Across State Lines" to hear music from an independent band or artist from outside PA!
